Recently I took a little break and headed down to Versace land, Miami. Had a great time, met a lot of people and had a lot of fun. I don’t know if you guys remember our post called “the list” where we featured some of the things our friends would ask for Christmas, if money was no issue. Well, when we asked Bun B, he mentioned some Futura artwork. So I got the idea, then I got to work! Below is my photo story on my trip and how it all happened.

Those aren’t deuces he’s throwing up, that’s a “V” for Vik. You guys may remember when we posted up his trip to Mount Everest, Culture Break. He now resides in Miami, but is a true ATLien. I’ve known him since my Nike Town years and we have been cool since. He showed me the best the city had to offer. Definitely some good times, appreciate all the southern hospitality! He’s the one who helped this all come together. When in ATL a few weeks back, I mentioned that I was in pursuit of getting in contact with Futura to possibly get some mags signed for Bun. I had a few avenues to try and get it done and figured he’d be my best connect. Follow Vik on Twitter. He goes harder than Mr. Ryan.

Meet Thadd (driving) and Dade (passenger). Along with Vik, they make up the 3 Musketeers. I guess I was D’artagnan (later to be added to the group). Thadd is a true Italian and about to make a big move to Rome. His little Italy came out when he literally stopped his truck in the middle of the express-way and attempted to get out and let a fellow driver know what he thought, only to be held back by Vik and Dade. Giving me a chance to witness my first ever real “road rage” experience in life haha. Did I mention Thadd listens to OJ Da Juice Man, this is probably the cause of the problem.

Meet Dade, suitably named because he is well connected all over Miami. You might be familiar with Dade Wear, Dade himself is one of the co-founders of the line. He was going on a trip with Futura and 13th Witness (Tim McGurr aka Futura’s son), down to Costa Rica and Panama. Once I over-nighted the mags to Vik he handed them off to Dade, where they were later signed in Panama.

If you’re well connected, you’re well connected. (Period)

Next order of business, getting the our Port Arther, Texas homie.
