21 Mercer.

21 Mercer officially opened its doors this Friday at 10 am for the public to view and shop the future of Nike’s Sportswear line. The store itself has been hyped up for sometime now with everybody waiting and guessing on how Nike will present sportswear to the world. 21 Mercer is the only shop of its kind in the entire world, nothing like it has ever been created. This will be the only location globally to carry the entire NSW collection and seasonal products. The products being featured include the Flywire Windrunner, Air Max 90 Flywire and 21 Mercer Nike LunaRacer. The store will also offer limited quantities of other iconic footwear and apparel pieces like the made-to-order Air Force 1 Low Lux, the NSW Collection Patchwork M65 jacket and the Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer Tee collection.” The products are absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. But first lets take a look at the inside of the store and its concept. We were fortunate enough to have taken some of the first pics ever of the space.

Walking in to the store we immediately got the sense of being somewhere in which every minor detail was clearly thought out and executed. Almost the entire store has been built using actual pieces from the city. From the basketball bleachers to the hang bar system was all constructed using materials from around NYC. It gives such a raw and super clean feel. Probably one of my favorite things about the space. I give Nike a lot of props for using materials like this, it just adds so much more to the space.

Walking towards the back of the store an amazing installation of past, present and future is along the side of the wall.

This walk leads you to the mid-section of the store which provides fitting rooms and another product section to shop.

Leaving this area and making your way to the back of the store you come across one of the sickest footwear displays Ive ever seen. This hallway leads to the new Nike Sportswear Bespoke section.

Below are just a few examples of what you can do in the Nike Sportswear Bespoke(ID) section of the shop. Get ready.

Cameras werent allowed into the Bespoke and I could totally understand, the setup is amazing and the fact that you basically do not have any limitations to what you can do to a shoe. This space by far was one of the dopest Ive ever been in and I give Nike a huge high-five for smashing all limitations and providing everyone with the creative opportunity to produce and one of the kind piece of art. Check the rest of the product shots below. My fav’s were the Lunar Racer and the Patchwork M-65 Jacket.

More product talk and pics from one of the best events Ive ever been too are coming soon, STAY TUNED!
