Ok so I’ve been sitting on this news for a while and finally decided to break it. A few months back I got an email from the assistant city manager of Decatur who wasn’t too happy about me using their logo without permission. A wise man once told me “You’re no one until you get a cease and desist.” Ok of course I’m joking, but it lets you know that your on someone’s radar right?. Read the email below, it gets pretty interesting. Basically It’s not that I can’t use the logo, but that I have to have permission. My boy Larry told me about a loop hole though, if I change my logo 20% then it’s not trademark infringement. So I had him mock up a few that I might have to move towards, you guys let me know what you think.

Ok ok, so I’m clearly kidding, but I will give it to larry those are pretty good. Can’t wait to see the comment’s from Kann and Farshad on this one. But in all seriousness, I am talking to the City right now in hopes to get permission to use the logo, if all goes well it will be granted I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted.
